Date Night Christmas Shopping

McKenna had her Thanksgiving feast at school today. They made the cutest little turkey hats and paper bag vests. Here is a picture:



Erick and I just got back from our date night. We wanted to do some Christmas shopping so we went to Disneyland. LOL! I know...not your typical place to do the Christmas shopping but they have the best princess store at Downtown Disney. First we went to Stubrik's for dinner and then grabbed some coffee (I had a white mocha with a shot of almond. Thanks for the reco Sal!) Then went to California Disney because we've never been able to ride the Tower of Terror (we always go with the kids who are too little). That was fun! And then a little more shopping. We didn't buy much. A princess umbrella for McKenna, some baby princess figurines for Kyla, and a few stocking stuffers. But hey, it's a start. Probably the first time I've ever done any Christmas shopping before Thanksgiving.

Speaking of Thanksgiving, I need to get to work on that Maple Cream Apple Pie! We're doing dinner at Erick's Grandma's house and dessert at my sister's. Should be a busy day! Happy Thanksgiving everyone!
