Dude.

No, seriously. Dude. I digi-shopped to my heart's content today. That was the other part of my Valentine's present - I got the laptop and I got some digi-shopping money on my paypal (awww, see how supportive Erick is of my hobby?) I so rarely get to digi-shop because we never have money on our paypal and I'm too impatient to wait the 5 days for it to transfer from my bank account. So that may be why I found this to be way more fun than clothes shopping. It was BETTER than being a kid in a candy store because no cavities and no bellyache. Woohoo!

So since I hardly ever digi-shop, can I show you what I bought? Links are easier on blogger than image uploads so you get links. Everyone cool with that? (Everyone with Mozilla says "Suuuure!" and everyone with IE says "Crap!")

Whew! Needless to say, I feel pretty stocked up! I'm hoping to work on a LO tonight using one of Gina's new kits and a particular element that was purchased today. I hope I can find the energy to start it! I'm at work right now and don't usually get home until 8pm. By the time I get home, help Erick clean up and make us something for dinner.....eek - too tired! But hopefully getting all my new fun downloads today will keep me inspired to create something tonight!

In other news - both girls had doctor appointments today. Kyla's was for her regular 4-month well baby checkup and McKenna needed a booster shot.

Kyla weighs 14 lbs., 14 oz. and she is 24 1/4 inches.
McKenna weighs 24 1/2 lbs and she is 31 1/2 inches.

McKenna got her booster and kept a brave face for her sister. She told Kyla "See, nuffin to it!" And then Kyla kept a brave face for her first two shots but by the third, she was feeling pretty betrayed and let us know. ; )

McKenna got a sticker and a piece of gum for being a good girl. She was quite excited about both and ate (and swallowed) the gum before we'd even left the parking. Kyla gets to start cereal and fruits now. So probably for her lunch tomorrow.

And now back to "work" (which means back to listening to my ipod and skimming through my photography magazine).

You got some great stuff there, Shannon. I just added a few of them to my wish list. I'll have you know that thanks to you, I've now taken over DH's new hard drive that I bought him for Christmas because I've downloaded so many scrapping kits! :) I also have a new copy of elements on the way to my house so I'll be scrapping up a storm soon!
We miss you on the FTM board!

Thank you for letting me live vicariously through your digi-shopping. I really like the alpha stamp brush things and the font that you bought. I think I got to see everything except the one combo kit which gave me a red X. I can't wait to see what you make with all that stuff.

Way to go McKenna for being so brave at the dr.'s office. You're a great big sister!

Do you think Kyla's going to pass McKenna in size or was McKenna about the same? I can never remember this kind of stuff.

Oh my gosh! Kyla is 14 pounds. I guess it just really sunk in how HUGE I was when I was born: 10-1/2 pounds. My poor Mom!

Great job McKenna for being so brave! :)

Your work sounds awesome btw! LOL!
Isn't shopping online just the grandiest?? I will never get over the fact that I can put bankrupt myself in a half an hour and NOT EVEN GET OUT OF BED. Aaah, technology.

did you happen to read Kim's comment?? GOOD LORD KIM! You were 10 AND A HALF pounds?? I'm sure your mom is STILL recovering....
