I like Marie Claire

This is an awesome magazine. One of my favorite things about InStyle magazine is that there's no tripe. It's fashion, beauty, culture. No lame articles about how to increase your orgasms. Well the last time I went to get my hair done I was reading through the Feb. issue of Marie Claire and it's the same although more international. Really intelligent. So I've been reading the March issue during my cardio (we have a lowered Schwinn so I can read while I workout) and they had the coolest article about the way women wear their hair in different tribes throughout the world, what it symbolizes, etc. So cool! And they had a ton of book recommendations that I wanna pick up now. So anyway, love Marie Claire - highly recommend it.

Ok, I am SO excited because apparently a lot of people do little leprechaun tricks on St. Patrick's day and pretend that a leprechaun snuck in their house and did it. I love this idea so I've got all sorts of fun plans. Tomorrow we're gonna go grocery shopping for our St. Patrick's Day meal AND some fun props for our tricks. I'll blog about that after SPD. But today, I decided to lay the ground work and I told McKenna that I had heard that sometimes on St. Patrick's Day leprechauns sneak into houses and play tricks. Her eyes got really wide and she started to giggle nervously. He he, this is gonna be funny!

Yesterday we took the girls to Disneyland. It was a gorgeous day, teensy bit crowded (spring break I guess) but we stayed for a few hours and went on Small World, Tea Cups and the Carousel. Here are a couple of pics:
Mommy & her girls:

Daddy & his girls:

The girls waiting in line for the Teacups. Look how close in height they are already:

Kyla's first time on the Teacups:

Kyla FINALLY got her first pair of Minnie ears. She's been to Disneyland I don't know how many times but we've always been too busy trying to get in as many rides as we could. This time we were determined to make sure she got them. McKenna wanted a new pair too (I did save her first pair though. I should scrap those pics soon.)

After that we came home so they could nap. Well they both woke up SO grumpy so we decided to go to the park to pass the rest of the day. Got a few cute pics but this is my favorite of each of them:

So anyway, that's about it. Kyla has said 2 new words - juice and hello.

And that's about it. Tomorrow should be busy. Grocery shopping, a quick trip to Target or Wal-Mart to pick up some St. Patrick's day goodies, some housework and hopefully some scrap time!

Awww, love those pics!! Especially the one of McKenna on the carousel and the two of them sitting there with their Minnie ears.

Y'all are so lucky to be able to go any random time you want. At least that way it doesn't feel like such a tragedy if you don't get all the rides in. You can pop in for a few rides and leave.

Dang, I wish I was close enough to go hang out at Disneyland whenever I felt like it. How cool is that?!?

I think I must live under a rock b/c I have never heard of leprachans doing tricks. I am going to have to do that! I did buy Darby O'Gill and the Little People that I can't wait to watch. I haven't seen that since I was little.

Dang, I gotta go to Disneyland soon! Those pictures are so cute! The matching mickey ears for Kyla and Kenna are great! They look the same age there!
