Mommy-Daughter Day

My girls have been such good little angels through this whole business venture. They've been very patient and entertained themselves often so that Erick and I have been able to really dedicate large chunks of time toward getting the site together.

McKenna is becoming such a three-year old (just one more month and she will be! *sniff*) so she's really just such a chatterbox, cracking us up with the things she says and her little adult conversations that she likes to have with us, not to mention being super affectionate. A few times a day, she'll come up to me and say "Mommy, I need huggies. Put your computer down." I always oblige because I am not one to miss an opportunity for a huggie!! I decided that she and I needed a little Mommy-Daughter day, just the two of us. So tomorrow we're going to lunch and shopping. We're both really looking forward to it. When I got home from work tonight, she was sitting at the window waiting for me and she yelled out "Mommy! Are we gonna have a Mommy-Daughter day??" She's just waiting for it to be "tomorrow" already.

Erick and Kyla will be out having their own Daddy-Daughter day - picking out a new car seat for my littlest munchkin who is growing too fast. (more *sniffs*) My babies are growing too fast.

PS - The DST Gallery is officially open! Enjoy!

You know--I've discovered a girl never outgrows a mommy-daughter day.

ESPECIALLY when the mom still pays for lunch. :)

Thanks for the gallery and your dedication....you guys rock.

Mommy-Daughter day sounds like so much fun. Zoƫ and I did that yesterday (but it wasn't nearly so fun without a cute title). My little monkey turned two on Saturday *sniff* so I am right there with you. I am off to check out the new gallery.
