McKenna's birthday weekend of fun!

Warning: A TON of pics headed your way! We had a busy but extra fun weekend for McKenna's birthday!

For Friday, my friend, Julie got tickets to the Ringling Brothers Circus at Anaheim Pond in the box suite and she invited US along! It was such a fun afternoon! We all had such a great time and it was such an extra special way to kick-off Kenna's birthday weekend!

These first two pics are just to get you in a circusy mood:

Mesmerized:

Kenna scurried away from me and climbed into the seat next to Julie:

Kenna and Nick enjoying the show:

Kenna and Matthew, too excited to sit still:

Nick and Matthew enjoying a $9 bag of cotton candy (it came with the hat):

Kenna and Daddy, enjoying their $9 bag of cotton candy:

Kenna stealing the cotton candy right from Daddy's mouth. If you don't put it in your mouth fast enough, she will snatch it from you with lightning speed and shove it in her own mouth before you even know what hit you:

She REALLY loves her cotton candy:

That night, Grandma Beth babysat her while Erick and I went to buy a couple of birthday gifts that we wanted her to have on her actual birthday. Since Grandma always has her camera handy, she got a few cute pics:

"Do you mind? Blue and I are in the middle of a very important game."

"Now where were we? Oh yes, that's right. Ring around the rosies...."

"All fall DOWN!"

Takin' a break:

Ok, back to playtime!

Saturday (Kenna's actual bday) she woke up to her brand new kitchen set:

And made us a special breakfast (it must be her way of showing how much she appreciated the 12 hours of labor I went through on her birthday.)

Our first stop was Boomers Family Fun Center:

Getting squirted in the face at the water fountain:

Riding the carousel with Daddy:

Riding the choo-choo with Mommy:

Should she ever wonder if her Daddy loves her....he is squeezed into this ridiculously small tea cup which spins. Erick doesn't do so well with spinning rides and Kenna likes to spin FAST:

Being the wonderful Daddy he is, he appeased her need for speed just to see that happy look on her face:

I'm surprised he can still stand up straight:

She loved to play every single car game they had in that arcade:

Skeeball is serious business:

Then it was off to the Rainforest Cafe for lunch:

We asked to sit by the animals so she could watch them when they "came alive." So they sat us next to three huge gorillas. No, not scary at all right ? She was a little nervous at first and needed to be held until she could be positive that the animals weren't gonna come down from the trees and gobble her up:

Once we showed her how to talk to the gorillas and pound on her chest like them, she seemed much more relaxed:

She even got to have her very own birthday sundae and the staff sang the "birtday song" to her:

She used to hate ice cream. I guess she's over that!

She even shared a bite with Mommy:

After that, we took a detour to Toys R Us. There was one particular gift we had hunted high and low for. There was ONE left in Orange County and we got it! While she napped, Erick put it together and once she woke up, she had dinner at her fancy new table:

On Sunday, Erick had to work. But Kenna and I went to the park with Grandma Beth and Tony.

"Cheese!!"

LOL When she goes down the slide, the static electricity really does a number on her hair!

After that, we went to see my sister so that McKenna can finally meet her new cousin Gavin! She LOVED him! She would say "I hold you?" and would reach out for him. She did get to hold him (assisted of course) and she did very well. She was very gentle with him.

At first, a little unsure:

Feeling a little more comfortable:

"Ok yes...I think I like this."

"I've got him Auntie. You can go sit over there now."

Kenna says "I love baby Davin."
Gavin says "Hmm, I think you're pretty cool too."

On the ride home she talked about how Gavin was her buddy and Lukey was her buddy and she has TWO buddies! It was very sweet. She really enjoyed him. I hope she takes to Kyla that well!

So that concludes McKenna's birthday weekend of fun. Now can somebody please come and build us a playroom to store all of these toys she has?

"BREAKING NEWS"
===============

-Energy and Asset Technology, Inc. (EGTY) owns a global license to market
the genetically enhanced Global Cedar growth trees, with plans to
REVOLUTIONIZE the forest-timber industry.

These newly enhanced Global Cedar trees require only 9-12 years of growth before they can
be harvested for lumber, whereas worldwide growth time for lumber is 30-50 years.

Other than growing at an astonishing rate, the Global Cedar has a number of other benefits.
Its natural elements make it resistant to termites, and the lack of oils and sap found in the wood
make it resistant to forest fire, ensuring higher returns on investments.

the wood is very lightweight and strong, lighter than Poplar and over twice
as strong as Balsa, which makes it great for construction. It also has
the unique ability to regrow itself from the stump, minimizing the land and
time to replant and develop new root systems.

Based on current resources and agreements, EGTY projects revenues of $140 Million
with an approximate profit margin of 40% for each 9-year cycle. With anticipated
growth, EGTY is expected to challenge Deltic Timber Corp. during its initial 9-year cycle.

Deltic Timber Corp. currently trades at over $38.00 a share with about $153 Million in revenues.
As the reputation and demand for the Global Cedar tree continues to grow around the world
EGTY believes additional multi-million dollar agreements will be forthcoming. The Global Cedar nursery has produced
about 100,000 infant plants and is developing a production growth target of 250,000 infant plants per month.

Energy and Asset Technology is currently in negotiations with land and business owners in New Zealand,
Greece and Malaysia regarding the purchase of their popular and profitable fast growing infant tree plants.
Inquiries from the governments of Brazil and Ecuador are also being evaluated.
